Amphibious Sand Pumps can be used as both submersible pumps and on-ground pumps. They can pumpslurry with 20% solid concentration and 1300 kg/m^3 liquid density, superior to slurry pumps. Therefore, they are very suitable for mining industry or any applications to pump heavy slurry containing sands and rock fragments. However, these pumps are only certified for overseas coal mines. They can only be used for metalliferous mines and open-cut coal mines in Australia.
